Genre : Game Jam - Third Person Controller

Robots harvest trees to duplicate.
Sometimes, robots duplicate wrong.
You? You nuke the wrong robots, and the bad robots to let the good robot harvest trees.
And duplicate.
For more harvesting.
Such is the cycle.
LOG
Game Design
Goal :
-
Our team wished to develop it's Unreal skills for a 1-year project.
-
Our school (ISART DIGITAL) pushed the use of Unity for it couldn't provide support for Unreal.
-
To test our team of 7 on an Unreal project, with 3D Artists and Game Designers, on cooperation and versionning.

Constraints :
-
Theme : How to make the World a better place
-
3 Days
-
No programmers

Learning occured :
-
Improved Blueprint skills (loving the Timeline system)
-
Versionning Perforce-Unreal

Mistakes were made :
-
A lack of communication early on, concerning the look of the game, between Game Designer and 3D-Artists brought us some issue with visual communication.
-
Our goal of fine tuning our skills on Unreal made us wonder off from the fun of the game.

Challenge :
-
Fairly new to Unreal's Blueprint

Why did it work well :
-
Our team was super fast to work, to make decisions, implement and iterate.
